Jackie McCarthy is a native of the Midwest, born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota; she spent her middle/high school years in New Richmond, Wisconsin; and graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. That being said, she has also travelled through much of the country, from Florida to Alaska, New York to California and countless places in between. After spending a year on Staten Island working as Master Electrician at Wagner College, she has returned to New Richmond for a year before switching career paths and entering the Cobalt Studios Scenic Artist Training Program. During this transitional period, she hopes to write many harrowing tales, learn to play the guitar, and paint and/or draw like crazy.
