The work below is gathered from two studio art courses I took while at Coe College, PAINTING I and II. This was my first experience with oil paints and I found myself enjoying them a great deal.

As a theatre major, I tended to make paintings with theatre on the brain - hence the several paintings to be found with that theme. The classes required that we experiment with styles of layout and paint application, but even in the later projects I didn't manage to find a style or type of content that I'm attracted to. Yet.
