It’s been a wet and woolly weekend with some much-needed rain here in Sydney, Australia. And, I was excited to receive a special package in the mail – the ‘author proof’ copy of the paperback version of my debut novel – The Ghost Mothers!
The proof copy enables me to check that everything is as it should be – text and page crops, the colours on the cover are correct, the spine aligned properly etc. So, it’s a sneak-peek before the book goes on sale to the general public.
I decided to share the moment with you via a video of the unboxing, so you could join in the excitement. It’s the first time I’ve held a book I’ve published in my hands so it was a special moment.
